Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA/Auutority),is a statutory regulatory body in the financial sector established under PFRDA Act(23 of 2013) passed by the parliament of INDIA with the mandate to promote,develop and regulate the Pension industry in India.

PFRDA invites applications from Indian citizens for filling up for the posts of Offficer grade 'A' (Assistant Manager )in General and Legal stream.PFRDA reserves the right to increase or decrease,fill up or not to fill up the posts or terminate the process at any stage and accordingly,the applicants shall have no rights to participate further in the selection process.

VACANCIES DETAILS - 

For general stream  Total Vacancies - 3 (obc-1,ur/gen-2,out of which PwBD -1(d&hh) )

For legal stream  Total Vacancies - 2 (ur/gen).

Educational Qualifications - 

For General stream -

Masters Degree in any discipline,Bachelors Degree in law ,Bachelors Degree in Engineering form a Recognised University ,CA,CFA,CS,CWA.

For Legal stream -

Bachelors Degree in law from a recognised university/Institute.

Age Limit (as on 30/04/2020) -

A candidate must not have exceeded the age of  thirty(30) years as on April 30.2020 i.e., candidate must have been born on or after May 01,1990.

Relaxable upper age limit -

up to a maximum of five years for candidates belonging to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled tribe if the posts are reserved for them

up to a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Bacaward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservations applicable to such candidates if the posts are reserved for them. 

Only those candidates belonging to non creamy layer are eligible to apply under obc category reservation(certificate issued on or after 02.05.2019 but earlier than the closing date of application.

Mode of Selection -

It consist of two stages -

Phase 1 will consist of an online examination consisting of Multiple choice quaetions(with 1/4 th negative markings) 

Phase 2 will consist of Group Discussion and Interview.

Pay scale-

The pay scale of officers in grade a is Rs. 28150-1550(4)-34350-1750(7)-46600-EB-1750(4)-53600-2000(1)-53600(17 years).

Total CTC consisting of pay and benefit for the post of officer grade a at the beginning os scale of pay would be approx Rs 16 Lacs per annum.

Examination centres-

The Phase 1 of the online examination will be held at the following centres-

East zone - Kolkata,Patna,Guwahati,Bhibaneswar,Ranchi.

West zone - Mumbai/Navi mumbai,Thane, Ahmedabad/Gandhinagar, Jaipur.

North Zone - Chandigarh/Mohali, Delhi/NCR, Lucknow.

South zone - Chennai,Hyderabad,Trivandrum,Bangalore.

Central zone - Bhopal,Nagpur,Raipur.

Fee Details - 

Unreserved,EWS &OBC  - Rs.500(Non- Refundable)

SC?ST/PwBD                  -  NIL

Note-Candidates can apply for both streams i.e., general and legal streams,separate application for each stream will be required to be filled with payment of requisite fee to be paid foe each such application.
